| Like most cancer projects, the motivation is personal, in this case, John R. Craig M.D. Dad practiced Pediatrics for over 40 years and 'could diagnose a kid across a room', according to those who worked with him. His 3 year battle with colon cancer was the inception of the diaries. However, his empathy for kids, and their families, undergoing chemo was the real inspiration. |
