The amount of cancer information, support groups and other resources available via the Internet can be overwhelming. The small resource section is no means exhaustive. We have organized the links by 'who you are' in hopes of saving you time and frustration. The point is to be immediately useful.

National Cancer Institute's authoritative site, good starting point for understanding treatment options. Emphasis on communication of research, funding and clinical trials.

Well organized, links to links, this site has some sound overall advice. Free professional counselling and education modules. Emphasis on Listing NY, NE organizations and companies that can offer some financial support directly to patients, for specific expenses. SP

While specific to breast cancer, the 'Self Care and Recovery' section has specific information about hydration and nutrition, easy to use for any patient. Emphasis on breast cancer treatment and recovery.

"A comprehensive listing of credible webs sites for those whose lives are touched by cancer." Like a library where it is easy to find what you are looking for…however, the same resources seem to be offered for various categories selected.

Carecasts, or webcasts, well done by real people who have dealt with cancer as a caregiver or close family member. Extremely well organized so that a user can find the user can easily find the situation that most resembles their own. Emphasis on personal and emotional issues.

A master list of resource links from coping/support, homecare to death and dying. Not a starting point, but a good location to find sites that address specific issues.

Weblogs are individual's personal publications, so lots of comments. Blog topics reflect the author's personal interests so the material is often wide ranging and eclectic.
